The four artists have each established distinct artistic languages that reflect a maturity and independence rarely associated with artistic practice at such an early stage.

The title points to the enduring significance of generational shifts in art history. Ungt Blod does not point to youth as a promise for the future, but to the energy that arises when new artistic voices enter the public sphere and reshape the structures they inherit.

With Ungt Blod, Mpagi Art presents four distinct artistic practices that together outline a cross-section of a new generation in Norwegian contemporary art. The program also marks the beginning of Mpagi Art's exhibition activities, in which solo exhibitions form part of a curatorial framework and can be read both individually and in relation to one another.

The program is curated by Ludvig Rakeng Mpagi (b. 2004).
