Lea Alstad to Galleri M35

"Tegne utenfor streken" is about raw, impulsive strokes. About letting go of perfection and allowing the hand to move before the mind has decided where it should go. In the works, Alstad brings hard contours and vibrant colors together with a spontaneous, intuitive line. She has no wish to erase the traces of the process, but to let them remain. The uneven and the unpredictable are allowed to become part of the expression.
