Kunstpodden Live

Experience Kunstpodden with Olav Christopher Jenssen and Cecilie Tyri Holt live at Astrup Fearnley.

Listen to Norway's first podcast about art live

In tonight's conversation, Jenssen and art historian and Kunstpodden host Cecilie Tyri Holt will travel back to Jenssen's breakthrough in the 1990s and to what shapes today's artistic expression. What is the driving force behind an artistry that is constantly changing?

Olav Christopher Jenssen is one of Norway's leading contemporary artists with a significant international reach – and a key artist in the Astrup Fearnley collection.

His artistry has been discussed in light of a tradition of abstract painting and neo-expressionism. He himself is not so interested in labels, but rather in a human presence.

Kunstpodden is Norway's first podcast about art, and takes a closer look at the structures behind exhibitions and the processes that govern artistry.

The conversation will be documented in an upcoming issue of Kunstpodden.
