Kjell Pahr-Iversen - En reise - fantasi og virkelighet

Fineart welcomes you to Pahr-Iversen's first solo exhibition in the gallery with works that have never been shown before!

Works characterized by travel, relocation and exploration

You will be presented with works on paper from different parts of his artistic career and paintings on canvas. Several of the works have never been shown before, and were created through years of travel, relocation and exploration.

The works on paper on display are colorful, shapely, and detailed. At first glance, one might see abstract works, but when the gaze rests on the richness of pattern and color, concrete objects gradually emerge. The exhibition stems from the artist's thoughts on growth, natural cycles, and coexistence, from the basis of photosynthesis to how our surroundings shape our gaze. Experiences from both the Norwegian mountains and the flat Dutch landscape have been decisive: In the Norwegian mountains, large forests can seem small, while in a flat landscape, flowers will tower and people will be giants. These changing perspectives also reflect Pahr-Iversen's pictorial world, where the organic, the poetic, and the sensual constantly shift and open up new layers.
