Experience the anniversary exhibition by Marinne Heskes

The exhibition, From the Archives, draws on Heske's extensive artistic production and will feature key works from across his career. Several of the works in the exhibition have never been shown before.

The exhibition provides a rare holistic insight into a practice that has continuously challenged the art institution, the art object and the storytelling.

Marianne Heske is one of our most significant and internationally renowned contemporary artists, and is considered a pioneer of conceptual art in Norway. She has been central to the development of Norwegian and Nordic contemporary art since the 1960s, and works across media such as sculpture, installation, photography, video and digital expression. Heske's work is represented in a number of leading collections, including the National Museum, the Astrup Fearnley Museum, the Henie Onstad Art Center and the Centre Pompidou.

Marianne Heske will be present at the opening of the exhibition.
